I wrote a book on OpenSource in Tamil and it got published by New Horizon Media (Kizhakku Pathipagam) on last Saturday ie., 07-jan-2012 in Chennai Book Fair 2012. If you get a chance to visit Chennai Book fair drop in at Kizhakku Pathipagam stall and grab a copy of the book

I ve started writing tamil (my native language) blog posts few months back. Of late the tamil posts I write has increased in stylesen.org, I thought of segregating things and thus came the idea of having a separate tamil blog. My new tamil blog is available in http://www.sasenthilkumaran.com/ You can see a screenshot of my tamil blog in the left, which is exactly similar in design and layout to stylesen.org but the content language is different.

In future you can read all my tamil blogs and articles in www.sasenthilkumaran.com, I ve already moved my tamil poem collection to the new place. There is a link under "what's in this site" section of stylesen.org to reach my tamil blog.

Last Thursday (31-dec-2009), I went to Chennai Book Fair 2010 along with Kamesh We went in the evening around 5:00pm. When I started, I didn't want to take my car since I thought there wont be any space for parking in such a big Book Fair which hosts 600 stalls. But my thought was wrong, the venue was lot bigger to accomodate the crowd. This is the second time I am visiting such a book fair, after the one in 2006 at Bangalore.

I ve started this new year 2010 with lots of energy, thats what my friends have described so far. I have a lot of plans queued to accomplish this new year. Those may be due to the side effects of the books I ve read in the past few days.

I started the new year in office with a new operating system Debian squeeze in my laptop, Cleared all my email queue in multiple accounts. I admire my desktop (in my laptop) with its new wallpaper, thanks to cmpilato

What next? Working...

I was thinking about changing the looks of stylesen.org for a long time (nearly 2 years), but today was the auspicious day I was able to accomplish the mission! Yes at last I ve done it and I hope you are already looking at it ;) Back in 2004 I started blogging with Blogspot.com, then switched to Wordpress.com In september 2006, I rolled out stylesen.org when I had my first self hosting website. I chose drupal to host this site, which today I feel is a wise decision made by me!

Time line of HDD space I ve used: * Back in college when I got my first computer which is a HCL easy bee, it had 40 GB of HDD space. * When I joined my first job I got an official laptop with 60 GB of space. * I bought a 120 GB of external HDD when I left my first job. * Then I got my personal laptop which is a HP dv2601, it has 160 GB of HDD space. * In my current job (second) I have an official laptop with 30 GB of HDD space. * Current desktop in home has 1.25 TB of HDD space. Recently I got a new desktop (dejas.stylesen.org) which currently has 1.25 TB of space. It has 6 slots for plugging in SATA disks, I ve used only 3 right now with a 250, 500, 500 GB disks. But I cant expand it anymore since the space for mounting HDD in the cabinet is exhausted. Anyway this is more than enough for me.
