I was introduced to Debian Operating System back in my college days somewhere in the year 2003. After almost 12 years of using Debian, today I feel proud to say I ve also contributed back to the Debian Community. Yes, I became a Debian Maintainer this week. Introduced in Debian Project News as a New Contributor - https://www.debian.org/News/weekly/2015/06/ I successfully completed Debian New Maintainer process and officially became a Debian Maintainer this week with my GPG key included in the Debian Maintainer Keyring!
Yesterday ie., 30 September 2010, I conducted a workshop at Mepco Schlenk Engineering College, Sivakasi which was organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering exclusively for Faculty from various engineering colleges in and around Sivakasi. In the morning I gave a talk and hands on in Subversion Version Control System and in the afternoon I handled Python Programming which was also a hands on workshop.
We had a total of 35 faculty members from various colleges. The session was interactive and also I was amazed to see everyone eagerly trying out stuff which I taught.
On 19th and 20th of February 2010, I ll be giving two talks in gnuNify at 2010 Pune,
India. gnuNify is an annual Free Software based tech event conducted by Symbiosis
Institute of Computer Studies and Research (SICSR) in association with Pune
GNU/Linux User Group, since 2003.

Yesterday ie., 12 Spetember 2009 from 11:30 to 13:30 HRS IST, I conducted "Python Programming Workshop" in SRM University as a part of "Aaruush'09" . I explained basics of python programming language and the advantages of using python over other languages, with some code demo.
We had audience from various colleges in and around Chennai. The session was interactive and I enjoyed a lot with the questions from the audience.
